The Full Story

Globally we face this two sided problem with employment and unemployment. People complain about there not being any jobs and companies complaining about there being no good candidates. What if both of these problems are true? 

 

Hiring practices have long been run following the status quo with recruitment. HR practices that take weeks of manual labour, The hiring process itself being tiresome and human resource and cost intensive. Candidates being left frustrated with having to fill in multiple time intensive applications for various companies often repeating applications with each attempt, far too often getting no feedback on the status of their applications and being judged on a system that looks at CV’s, and ATS’s that look for keywords instead of skills and competencies. 

 

Qala was founded in the midst of this problem. The problem was not with the lack of jobs or the poor talent, rather the system that brings people to jobs were broken.
